Caramatic SafeDrive
safety gas pressure regulation device for the operation of single-cylinder systems in motorhomes and caravans while driving, for direct connection to the gas cylinder
consisting of: mechanical crash sensor with pendulum, low pressure regulator with over-pressure safety device S2SR, medium pressure hose assembly and regulator bracket
For more information, see the landing page for the Caramatic SafeDrive.
- gas supply while driving using the integrated mechanical crash sensor with pendulum, which blocks the gas flow in case of an accident
 - advantages crash sensor with pendulum:
- faster and easier start-up and reset after response
 - more precise performance and therefore less interference from incorrect response behaviour
 - start-up possible with no problem, even if the leisure vehicle is in an inclined position

 - straightforward retrofitting, as no wall assembly of the regulator is required; the installation takes place directly on the gas cylinder
 - low space requirement for the installation in the gas cylinder case
 - gas cylinder can also stay open all the time while driving
 - increased safety, as in the event of an accident, the gas supply is stopped directly at the gas cylinder
 - medium pressure hose assembly (rubber with textile lining; cold resistant up to -30 °C; hose dimensions 6.3 x 3.5 mm) G 1/4 lh nut x compr. fit. 10 x 450 mm
 - by default, the version with compression fitting 10 / 8 at the outlet is fitted with an adapter to connect 8 mm piping
 - brackets for safe holding of the regulator on the wall, e.g. when replacing the gas cylinder

- single fittings with DIN-DVGW and/or DVGW [German Association of Gas and Water] type test certificate or EU type examination certificate PED

- maximum admissible pressure: PS 16 bar

- Caramatic SafeDrive cannot be used with adapter for the gas cylinder with clip-on connector.
