Electrical and Electronic Equipment Act - Waste equipment and disposal

The Electrical and Electronic Equipment Act is the basic instrument for all manufacturers and distributors of electrical and electronic products. It covers everything from registration to advertising and marking. The main aim is to identify the quantity of electrical and electronic equipment that is placed on the market and to ensure in the end that it is disposed of and recycled properly.

Following an amendment to §18 para. 2 of the Electrical and Electronic Equipment Act, we are obliged to publish information about the status of the manufacturers' compliance with the quantity targets.
