Info text Safety for heating while driving - with an LPG tank
If the on-board gas heating is also to be used to heat the vehicle during the journey, special safety devices must be installed to prevent gas leakage in the event of an accident. This also applies for vehicles which are fitted with an LPG tank.
For the safe operation of these vehicles, the combination of a low pressure regulator and mechanical crash sensor is connected directly onto the LPG tank.

- gas supply while driving using the integrated mechanical crash sensor new with pendulum, which blocks the gas flow in case of an accident
- Advantages crash sensor new with pendulum:
- faster and easier start-up and reset after response
- more precise performance and therefore less interference from incorrect response behaviour
- start-up possible with no problem, even if the leisure vehicle is in an inclined position
- can be used all over Europe through the use of country-specific high pressure hose assemblies - Caramatic ConnectDrive (not included in delivery)
- test point for leak testing the LPG system without disassembling the pressure regulating device
- suitable for connection of an Eis-Ex, e.g. Caramatic TwoControl
- by default, the version with compression fitting 10 / 8 at the outlet is fitted with an adapter to connect 8 mm piping

- maximum permissible pressure: PS 16 bar
- Fulfils the requirements of DGUV Regulation 110-010 (German statutory accident insurance, previously DGUV Regulation 79) and is suitable for use in commercially used caravans and motor caravans!
